Emily L in the salon is awesome! Normally I go to places and they ask what size clipper to use on my son's hair etc, I have no idea otherwise I would cut his hair myself! I show Emily a picture and she cuts it exactly like we want. Definitely the best there!

Unfortunately it was a disappointment. It looked like they were closing. The clearance section is large and the regular departments were sparingly stocked. Help was only in the cosmetic department, and you know that means no help. I remember J.C.Penney as a classy, clean, and inviting store. Not anymore. Sadly class went out of style.

The associate I spoke with, Robyn, was incredibly friendly and helpful. She was able to give me a suggestion based on her husband's experience and it really helped!

Very rude sales staff. Was shopping there today asked a question about a pair of boots that had 2 price tags. First sales woman checked the price as she doing that another woman came over. Got different prices from both after them making a rude comment about someone must have stuck the lower price on the box. I pointed out that all the boxes had both stickers on them. Still no correct price. I then move on to do a little more shopping and returned to the boots. I ask a third person to check the price because it is pink tag which is an additional 50% off lowest price. As she is checking one of the first sales woman yells from a few isles over about the red tickets, sounding very rude again. I tell the third sales woman to never mind and I go to the checkout. Yup a fourth different price on the pink ticketed boots, all which were higher than the pink ticket. I tell the cashier that it isn’t ringing up right. After I explain the big clearance sale that all the employees should know about. She reluctantly charged me the right price. By the time I left the store I was so upset and shocked by employees being so rude to a paying customer that had a question. If your employees are not there to help customers then they shouldn’t be on the sales floor.
