Nice guy that owns the place but TERRIBLE service. Dropped off a Sea Doo seat in October to be redone. Went back 5 times over the winter and every time he said it would be done next week. Told me that he had the material and then the next time I came in he said he had to order it. 2 more times I came in and he said the same thing. Told me he would have to order it? After over 6 months of BS and lies I was disgusted and took the seats to someone else that will have them done in a week. The service is the worst I have ever encountered. No idea how he is still in business when he can't even re finish a Sea Doo seat in 6 months? Will never go back nor would I ever recommend this business.

I brought an antique couch and chair to Done Right in August, 2016. After 3 months of waiting, I called for an update and Darrel told me he'd be done in a week. After 2 weeks and no word, I called again, and got the same story. This was repeated at least 10 times over the next 4 months. When we finally got the couch we were so tired of dealing with him - calling every week only to be lied to again and again, that we didn't even challenge the terrible job he had done. The pics attached show the puckered seams, the unprofessional way of tacking the upholstery over the wood arm trim, crooked seams, etc. After another few months of lies, we took the chair to someone else. When asked why it was already torn down, we told the story without naming names. They guessed that it was Done Right we had had trouble with. We asked him to refund the deposit we had paid for the chair, and it was the same as before. He'd say he'd have the money for us in a few days, and then we wouldn't hear from him for weeks. My husband finally went to the shop and confronted him. We did get the money a couple days after that. Lying to customers is obviously not good customer service. Better to tell someone if you're backlogged with work, instead of making promises you can’t keep. However, even if the customer service was better, I wouldn’t choose Done Right again, as the quality of his work is terrible. *EDIT Darrel, as to your response below, my complaint is not the price. You quoted me a low price and that's why I brought the work to you. I paid exactly what you quoted me. If you feel your quote was too low, and you didn't price the material correctly, that's not your customer's fault. As far as when I received the couch, it was not "before Christmas". It was the end of January. And the fact that it took 6 months is not my complaint. The material that was back ordered is not my complaint, either. My complaint is that every time I asked when you'd be finished, you lied. If you had told me it'd be a few months because you were really busy, I might have been disappointed, but I would have thought better of you for being honest. My complaint is that for months when I asked if the material was coming, you lied. You could have told me it was back ordered right away, and I would have understood. I think the lesson here is "don't lie to your customers". And if you're hoping to get business through low prices, don't complain afterward that your customers didn't pay you enough. Oh, and, for the record, I'm not "just mad that I paid through the nose for my chair". I sincerely wish that I had paid more somewhere else for the couch, since it would have turned out just as beautiful as the chair.

Actually....he brought you his motorcycle stuff and YOU wanted to be paid upfront (poor business)...when you said you could have it done we called you the next day and YOU were unprofessional...you returned his items tore apart which again is unprofessional...he did NOT threaten you whatsoever but whatever you think....and to say he didn't have the money is hilarious to me...you have no clue buddy and you business practices leave ALOT to be determined!! Also please let me clarify...he did not write anything on any page....I DID!! And I spoke the truth unlike you!! Actually I am the mother in law who was paying for it as a gift...so it isn't my friends giving bad reviews...it must be your way of conducting business...sorry...however we do know a lot of people who will not be going to you as we found someone who conducts business professionally and was able to fix the mess you made beautifully!! You are in business and couldn't handle a bad review so you removed your page...again stellar professionalism
