I rather walk than deal with this taxi company. Why do taxi companies oppose to Uber and other competition ? Competition is necessary to make sure that you are at your best. Central Valley feels as they have the monopoly that they can treat you like dirt. I called for a cab. The young lady answered in a soft voice without identifying the company’s name. She simply said “ taxi”. Who’s to know which company it is? The proper protocol is to say” Central Valley taxi, how can I help you ?” I was told 10 min wait. 15 min later I asked if the taxi was coming ? I was going to be late for my appointment. The lady said- the taxi is coming shortly. Do you want me to cancel the ride ?” I replied “ I just want to know when the taxi is coming ?” Her reply” I am canceling your service “ I said I never said anything about cancelling and she simply said I am canceling your taxi service repeatedly. I have dealt with company for many years as they used to help me with picking up my children when I couldn’t. I call them for my clients at all times. I guess the service have changed and customer service is non - existence. I feel sad for the clients that have to depend on them at all times. No one deserves to be treated rudely at all times. After waiting for 25 minutes I left with out notifications as the company doesn’t deserve any courtesy. I walked after that. The main problem: the person answering the phone. Solutions: please take some etiquette lessons in how to treat your customers. Please be courteous and be polite to everyone. No one deserves to be treated like dirt.

Quite possibly THE worst cab experience ever. The lady on the phone said that the cab would arrive at our destination in 20 minuets but even after an hour of waiting, no cab driver arrived. Would not recommend.

Representative said, driver will be their in 15-20 minutes, after waiting for 30 minutes, driver called me and asked are you still waiting? I can be their in 5 minutes. Great service, must say.

I had a great experience with my driver, I believe his taxi number was 88, I booked a taxi 5 hours prior before I got on my flight and arrived at the Abbotsford airport and he was there a bit early but ready and waiting for me - it was perfect! He left me a message so I knew exactly which taxi I was looking for and that he was there. He helped me with my bag, we had light and easy conversation, he was very personable and I enjoyed the 1 hour ride to the Vancouver airport. I had received a quote a few days prior for approximately $150 for that ride and it was almost exact - I was very pleased to have no surprises. I would use Central Valley again!

The taxi arrived on time but the driver almost rear ended a car. I had an early morning flight and prebooked the taxi for YVR. The driver arrived on time and was driving fine until I noticed him failing to slow down in time at red lights. He nearly rear ended a car and went on saying the other car stopped all of a sudden. I saw the other car stop in time and it was just an excuse to being either looking at his dispatch screen while driving or loss of attention due to early morning/driving throughout the night. Please look for another taxi service to drop you safely at your destination.
