Don't go to Newcastle the locals have ruined it

Very fun little ride over to the floating pub.The seats should be arranged like a hay ride though. It's better to be able to look outside than stare at the person across from you :)

Good service $10.00 for return tickets. Runs every hour on the hour until 10 p.m.

Friendly staff and a clean well maintained waiting area. Clear safety information given. My only suggestion would be to run every 1/2 half hour on weekends.

The ferry captain was incredibly rude and unaccomodating. There is a clear ferry schedule established, which in my opinion should be maintained and adhered to if advertised. I understand that they have double runs on occasion, but at least leave at the posted times! People have lives and are trying to plan according to your “schedule.” The ferry left 15 minutes prior to the posted time, with 2 passengers aboard. I had just arrived at the dock when he was pushing off, and although I yelled out to see if he would allow me on, he looked at me and dismissed me completely. I missed a dinner with family. This particular captain is ignorant and disrespectful of people’s time and plans. So much for accommodating your patrons at the pub, or holding any level of customer service.
