Just had a great weekend in Invermere thanks to Columbia Valley Taxi. They were on time and friendly each time we called ahead. They do the best they can with only two vans for the entire town, even at 2am when only late night bar closes and the crowd comes streaming out. They do a great job of getting everyone home safely and even if you have to wait, they respect the queue of who is next for each ride. We really appreciated their service and have nothing but great things to say about them!

Columbia Valley Taxi is amazing from the lovely dispatcher to Dixie. I went with friends for the weekend to Invermere and the service was fantastic and the staff was knowledgeable about where to go in town. Thank you for everything!

I am very disappointed with some of the negative reviews above. I have only had THE BEST experience with this company.......expecially Dixie!! They all have gone above and beyond making sure I get everywhere safe. Everyone within this company have been nothing but friendly and genuine. This is a small town with one taxi company who busts their behinds to help us here. I find it very upsetting that people complain if they have to wait 15 mins!!!!!! We are not a city and local businesses should only be praised for existing and servicing the valley! I can’t imagine any rude behaviour unless it is warranted from a customer!! A great addition to Invermere and a huge praise for what they put up with!!!!!!!!

Unprofessional and rude are the two best words to describe this company. The women I talked to on the phone was unprofessional. Yelling at me over the phone until I was finally able to get her to calm down and actually talk to me. When the male driver finally showed up 25 minutes after he said he would arrive. He was rude and aggressive toward us. Began yelling at us in the cab. Zero personal skills or ability to solve a problem. Literally the two worst people I’ve ever meet in a professional setting. I do not know how they even have a company anymore.

I have to disagree with Peter Marshall. I was in Invermere this past weekend and speaking with Dixie who took us from Invermere to Radium was a true delightful person. She was a few minutes later than what she thought but apologized. There was no concern on our part as there is no way a small company with two taxis in a small town would know where people are heading when picking them up. I chatted with Dixie as my daughter was in Invermere last year and there was only one taxi then and he closed around 11 pm so the girls had to walk back to their hotel after the bar. I was glad to know that there is two cabs now and they try their best to get everyone home from the bars as best as they can. I am not sure what happened with Mr. Marshall experience but in a small town like Invermere, I think we should be thankful we have two taxis now and appreciate that they do their best to accommodate the locals and us visitors. Great job Dixie and your team.
