Food options are limited, make sure to bring whatever you wanna eat before coming in. The airport is relatively small and cozy. Comfort dogs walking around all the time to relief people's stress. The duty free may randomly give you coupon receipt after checkout that only valid for the day of, so maybe it's better to buy a little first then see if you are lucky or not

I will have to agree that this is one of the best airports in western Canada. Alot of beautiful memorable pictures, works of arts and displays on at different times of the year. I love the green area in the gates D area close to Lift. It is so beautiful. Lots of food courts around for those that want easy food grab. Always love connecting here....

Great service, super friendly. Super clean and #Cosmopolitan. However you will spend more than 2 hrs trying to do your check in or #international police check. Super slow!.

Undoubtedly the best airport in Western Canada. I always transition from Vancouver International Airport whenever I travel overseas. There's a lot of activities to keep yourself busy while waiting for an connecting flight. You can dine in at one of the many fine cuisine restaurants, pick up and enjoy newspapers/magazines at the news stand, or go shopping in the customs shops. The airport even have First Nations arts and an giant fish aquarium. Overall, it is an very positive experience at YVR.

This is the best airport in Canada! Easy to navigate, lots of shopping, several food options from Timmy to Pubs, parking is easy to navigate, bathrooms are clean, lots of natural light. Is even dog friendly, I see lots of people bringing dogs to arrivals🐶 Screens are well displayed, signs are easy to follow. The decoration is fantastic features indigenous art and lots of pride of West coast culture! Tons of cabs and limos available and public transit to downtown is right there. Hotel in premises is expensive$$$$ and not affordable options that are close.
