Left a brand new phone at the back of the taxi cab. On the evening of the incident (a Friday) I called in to report it lost but ended up being transferred to a lost item voice-mail box that was full! So after a few calls where I insisted to talk to a real person I ended up talking to some reps that told me no phone was found and to wait until Monday to call again which is not a viable solution for anybody in my opinion. I was also pretty rudely hung up on twice. In retrospect, I understand they may have been frustrated with me calling multiple times on a pretty busy night but evidently I also realized the next day that they never even called anybody to ask if a phone was left behind. Next morning I called again and the difference was night and day. Was politely explained how their lost and found process works and that indeed if any phone was found by the driver on a weekend they would have taken it home and brought it to work on the following Monday. Luckily I live in an area where security takes all the taxi information before it can enter for pickup so I was able to attain the exact time, cab # and driver who picked me up from them. And I was able to relay all that information to Duffy's. Yet they attested to me that the current Saturday driver who was driving the same taxi cab from last night did not find any phone in the back which turned out to be the truth. Then, a few hours later, as my hope for ever seeing this phone was fainting, the taxi driver from last night called my friend who initially spammed my phone with texts asking to call him if found. He invited us to pick up the phone around where he lives and so we did. Faith in humanity restored. He explained to us that he noticed this phone in his cab at the end of his shift around 3AM and decided to wait until the following day to do anything about it. So evidently he called my friend once he was getting ready for his next shift.. All in all, as a newcomer to Winnipeg and some of the negative stories I hear, it was a delight to deal with honest people. I appreciate not so much the company but this individual driver who's integrity even outside of work reflected perhaps the sincerity of this taxi company. Thank you!

Absolutely horrible customer service. Our company provides us with cab slips to get to and from our Christmas Party. Called and arranged a cab for 550 earlier today. No show at 550. After calling and waiting on hold 4 times a cab finally shows up at 650. Winnipeg needs better options. Too bad we cant give 0 reviews.

I will never use them again. I called Sat to see if anything was turned in and they told me that I had to call in Monday I been trying to call the lost and found number which by the way is also the same lady for Customer service and her mail box is full on both lines. Why even have that if she isn't going to answer the phone and work. I called the cab line again to see if there is another way and the woman was rude. Ma'am you are calling about something that happened Friday night, yes because you guys said to call Monday. I will never ever use you guys again. No one needs rude people who don't work. Useless.

Terrible service I would not recommend Duffys Taxi to anyone. They're not trustworthy or reliable. They only thing they care about money and not their customers. I could never feel safe riding with a company that is only worried about money. I want to know Im safe arriving to my destination, after phoning a company to drive me because I am a young woman that has had one too many drinks. I would not put my safety in this company's hands.

Who ever answers the phones should focus on sending cabs and not trying to be a comedian with there poor choice in drug jokes... Instead he doesn't send the cab and makes you wait in - 20 weather. Such a joke. I spend at least $20 a day on this joke of a company. Unicity from now on. At least they send cabs when u request them. I'll take my $400 at least a month else where.
