My wife just had a baby so I had to start taking a taxi to work at 4:30 in the morning. The first morning was great. Guy showed up at 4:22 am. Perfect. The next day it was 4:35 and I called and he said they had the wrong phone number written down so he came and got me at 4:45 and barely made it to work. He apologized and told me to call earlier to get a different receptionist. So I did. The third day it again showed up at 4:45 and barely made it to work. On the way to work the girl kept ignoring calls from customers and the ones she did answer she was horrible to. I decided to give them one more chance. I called the night before and they said they had my info. The next morning I called at 4:35 and the guy said there was nothing written down after 4:00 am but he could come get me. I was pissed and told him to forget about it. I woke up my wife and my newborn baby at 4:40 after it was snowing all night and the roads were slick as hell and had her give me a ride. On lunch break today I heard the same exact story from a co worker. I will never use grand forks taxi again. They r unreliable and rude and my pet peeve is being late for anything. Just a warning if u want a cab that will actually show up call S&S taxi. Tomorrow will be my first day with them but I have heard nothing but good from there customers. It makes me wonder how grand forks taxi stays in business.
