I have always had a great experience with checker. I find most cab companies in the city terrible, but checker is always prompt and the drivers are friendly. I had to take my cat to the vet and they let me bring my cat in a carrier and were very kind. I would recommend checker over any other company in the city.

Got off the plane at the airport. Walked outside. And there was a cab waiting. Not for me just waiting. I should have got the guys name. For the future. Was a nice quiet and calm ride.

All of the companies in this city are super unprofessional. Drivers smelling like alcohol, poor driving, screaming into phones in other languages. Also, the dispatchers and other drivers talk on an open radio (often bitterly berating) whilst every customer can hear. Some drivers are fantastic, and I truly appreciate them, but unfortunately they are rare.

Took two cabs last night with this company. First driver asked how well I knew the area and I said I knew it quite well and he said ‘so I wouldn’t be able to steal you?’. Okay laugh that comment off. Next cab drive I get rips us off and also makes a comment of ‘don’t worry I’m not going to kidnap you’ DO NOT USE THIS CAB SERVICE. I’m sure there’s one with more respectable drivers than the ones this company hires.

Well I'm not from this city so I do not know the streets well enough. Called checker cab a lady answered, I said "hello, I don't really know the number but," about to give the description of where I was she interrupts me and says " well when you do call back!" And then she hangs up. If you ask me check cab is not worth it, you would think they would be extra nice to make up for how expensive they are. Never getting my service again
