Extremely thankful!! I used citywide taxis service a few days ago coming from the airport to downtown to my friend's house. The cab who picked me up from the airport around 2am was cab number 34 and i must say he went above and beyond to make sure that i am not stranded in a city where i am a stranger. I suppose to go to my friend's house but she forgot to leave a key for me and she was a few hours away and now out side her house i had no place to go. Thanks for the patience and helpful information he helped me find a hotel where room was available and he made sure that i have a place to stay. Thank you St. John’s, thankyou you Citywide taxi#34 . I am loving my stay here and i decided to leave a review of my awesome experience

Taxi ride was fine, driver was nice and up front about the flat rate charge. My issue is the "flat rate" to the Best Western Hotel 1km from the airport. $21 come on b'ys, this is a bad policy, do better. If this was my first experience in St John's as a tourist I would not be impressed.

Was quoted $25 when I called to enquire about my ride to the Airport, from pier 8 @ the harbour. Was charged $35😳 Driver was polite, & friendly. Taxi was clean.

Last night my husband and I flew into St John’s Newfoundland. We needed a taxi from the Airport to our hotel approximately 8km’s. We were both very shocked when the driver charged us $42. We asked the hotel clerk if this sounded like a reasonable rate. She said usually the fee should be $30 or $35. Today we needed to get into the city so we rode the city bus.
