The Maids

I've had monthly cleaning service with 'The Maids' for over a year. The first 6 months were ok and met our needs, but the last half year has been very disappointing. I had to make monthly calls regarding several things missed with cleanings such as garbage liners not being replaced in all garbage cans; some garbage cans emptied and others not- or the garbage cans not being emptied all together; bedrooms with closed doors not being serviced at all, cobweb on the front window with a fly in it but not wiped off, etc. Each time I've called, the person answering the phone was in Oregon and apologized, informing me that all of my concerns were noted on my account for the next clean. They also assured me that they will speak to the cleaning crew for re-education needs as well as offered to come back to address the missed areas OR give me a small credit on the cleaning. I was given the excuse of them having a lot of turn-over and new employees. I shrugged it off thinking things would change after the first 3-4 months in a row of missing areas from the services and this went on over and over again for over 6 months of me having to call the office regarding REPEATED things that were not getting done because the cleaning crew were not reading the notes of my concerns to the office from the previous months. Nothing was being done about it, and it didn't make sense that NONE of the notes were being read by the cleaning crew and for me to have to call the office about it over and over again regarding the same issues. The last straw to discontinue service with them was due to what happened during the cleaning yesterday. When I got home from work after their cleaning, I saw that the glass shower door in the master bathroom had been dislodged and was no longer sliding back and forth- it was left this way with no notice to me, nor did anyone call the manager for repair or other intervention. I spent 20 minutes last night trying to reconnect the shower door and couldn't get it fixed. The next morning I spent another 10 minutes trying to re-connect it and finally got it back together. Also, some garbage liners were also not replaced in the garbage cans which was something I've had to call about consistently every month for the last half year. Overall, I do not recommend this company, and while they have polite staff working there, it just isn't worth continuing services with them if they cannot perform the basic functions of the job and do not read the repeated notes of items to focus on that have been written over and over again every month for half of a year! This is just unacceptable and if things haven't changed in 6 months, they probably never will with this company.

The Maids Team 2 did a great job in my house. They come regularly. Always friendly and have good attention to detail. I trust and recommend them.

Hired them to clean my house after we moved out, they cleaned up the big garbage/dirt left but did not clean out any of the cabinets or drawers. Old food and sticky spots were left on the floors. It was very difficult to get the partial refund. Management told me the cabinets were "vaccumed but they must have missed the corners", which is unlikely because crackers and crumbs and hair were left in all. I even sent pictures to prove it wasnt cleaned but was treated like I was exaggerating.

I have used the maids for years and they are great!
