We are delighted with the service as Mike took the time to carefully inspect our carpeting throughout the house to identify where our cat had "marked his territory". Using the Purt product really made all the difference to neutralize the areas he had soiled. The carpeting is clean as new and the house smells fresh again. We will definitely call Calgary Chem-Dry the next time our carpeting needs cleaning.

Edited* Changed to 4 stars after receiving a phone call from the owner Mike offering an apology. Mike also refunded the cost of the service and offered to either come redo the job for free or my next small job required for free. Nice personal touch and a very prompt response. Mike, my first call will be to you the next time I need some help. Much appreciated. Trent Just had ChemDry here to clean a mattress for me. Strike 1 - I had an appointment booked from 12:00-1:00. At 11:40 I got a call from the ChemDry employee coming to do the work who informed me that the schedulers had his bookings all messed up and that he was going to go to another appointment because it was closer and he would now be coming around 2:00. Strike 2 - employee informed me that the stain likely wouldn’t come out, but he could try anyways. I asked why I wouldn’t be told that over the phone when booking, and he said that the call center employees don’t know because they have never cleaned a mattress. Strike 3 - employee dragged snow covered dirty hoses all over my hardwood floor, did the mattress cleaning for about 5 minutes tops, and hauled the hoses back down to his truck. He came back in with his invoice book, trying to use his socks to clean up the mess. When he realized he couldn’t get the floor clean with his socks, I asked if he was going to leave the floor in that condition. He then went over to my paper towel, threw 2 pieces on the floor and used his foot to try to clean up the muddy water. He needed to “borrow” the paper towel because all of his rags were dirty today. Anyways, he left the house in a mess and now I’m cleaning it up for him. Do yourself a favor and call someone else if you need a mattress cleaned. I couldn’t be more disappointed.

I had an effecient and friendly gentleman in today. I appreciated that he took the time to explain various aspects of carpet cleaning including how old stains that I cleaned myself might show up afterward. He was honest and did a great job, so i will definitely use Calgary Chem-Dry again.

We had the carpets done in our whole house. Very efficient, professional and polite. We had the service provided by the owner himself and Mike was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. He took the time to chat with myself, my husband and even took a few minutes to interact with my 4 year old child and labrador dog. The floors look great and dried in half the time of any other floor cleaning service we have used. Definitely recommend them.

Edit: A week after the cleaning, the stains had all lifted back to the surface, the carpet took 5 days to dry and it felt like it was covered in residue. They offered to come back and fix it but I felt more comfortable having another company fix it. What a difference. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Calgary Chem-Dry now. Our carpet is badly stained by an older pet who is becoming incontinent. We don’t want to have the carpet replaced as we have other pets and more messes are bound to happen. BJ came in and assessed the situation, with retaining the carpet, freshing it up and removing as much staining as possible being the goals. He did a fantastic job! We didn’t expect perfection but it is a lot closer to that than it has been for some time. And he did it with an eye to keeping it affordable for us. We’re very happy with the service we received and recommend it to others in the same boat!
