dropped off a wool knit with a small stain on it, when I picked it up the jumper had clearly been scrubbed with great force since it had become severely felted and the stain hadn't even been removed, I was told it was supposedly the stain and the cleaning chemical that ruined the jumper; both the front and back had huge felted patches even though there wasn't even any issue with the back of the jumper. terrible service

If there were zero stars that’s what they would get. Had my wedding dress and veil cleaned here paid over $300 for it all to be cleaned and my veil which I paid over $400 for comes back ripped and unable to be worn or fixed!! When I called to ask about it and see what they were going to do for me they put it all on me saying they did not rip it and they were going to do nothing for me!! Extremely disappointed!!

Two weeks ago I dropped off my grad dress at The Laundry for it to be dry cleaned. When I went to pick it up, the dress was destroyed. The dress was my mom’s grad dress and she had kept it for me to wear. Not only did it have monetary value, it also had huge sentimental value. The manager of The Laundry told me the dress had been sent to Comox Valley Cleaners, and that they were at fault. Communicating with the owners of Comox Valley Cleaners was more than frustrating, as they didn’t return calls and refused to take responsibility. The owner offered to compensate us for the damages, however they never followed through. Rather than apologizing, they blamed the manufacturer of the dress, and called it “garbage.” I was appalled by the sheer rudeness and unprofessionalism this situation was addressed with. The previous owner told us that he has been running the company for over forty years and his business is unaffected by negative customer feedback. Now, I graduate in 17 days, I am without a dress and have been offered no apology or solution.
