Friendly staff, will be much nicer when the owners renovate the business and replace the broken down machines. Nice reno's but same poorly maintained machines. Its cheaper and faster to go to the shell station in Qualicum Beach. The dryers actually dry your laundry!

Lots of machines, reasonable rates

I was walked up to the door on Sunday at 4:20 and was met by grey haired lady who bars me from entering and tells me last load goes in at 4:30. I say that I only need to wash and not dry but she refuses and says that she has already turned others away and it wouldn’t be fair to them to let me in. What? You are open until 6:00 and you have already turned others before me at 4:20? Thanks for the respect lady. Your story was weak. I’m new here but I’ll not be returning to suds and duds. You have lost my business which I’ll be giving to Craig Street Laundromat from now on.

I've been going here a long time, one particular employee (white female, tall, white/grey hair, skinny - not the owner or Dar) has twice now greeted me coming in there with abrasive and rude behavior. I have watched her chase customers off telling them they can't do laundry when it wasn't even 6:30PM yet. This same employee also starts telling customers her problems and how she doesn't leave the Laundromat till 9:30 Pm or later. Almost like its the customers fault. After she says all this, you can see her socializing with customers, talking, being a chatty-cathy. Maybe if she stopped talking so much, she could focus on her duties, and leave work at a better time when she is off work? On top of that my last load that should have cost me about $30 to do, ended up costing me about $40 or so, because the dryers on the back wall run like garbage. The chatty, female, employee then tells you that she has noticed that they don't run well either. Then why are you allowing customers to plunk in more quarters on dryers that are not working well? Why not put out of order signs? Have the machine serviced? Or are the dryers rigged to run bad, so the laundromat can charge the customers more? Julianne you are the owner and take ultimate responsibility for your business, I don't care what's going on in your personal life. You should love your customers, you should make sure the machines are operating properly. You have in my opinion failed in doing that. You have now lost my business. Do the math, $20-$40 a week, times four weeks a month. Then multiply that by 12.
