POLO CLEANERS

Just dropped by, to check on the prices and time it'll take to dry clean my clothes, the man there was rude when I asked, how long will take them to have my blazers ready. It was clear to me, this isn't the place I would like to leave my beloved clothes.

Polo Cleaners (1247 Davie St, Vancouver, BC V6E 1N4 ) = 20$ dry cleaning + stress + I didn't get my items back. I brought 280$, brand new trench coat for dry cleaning and got it back without its belt. My husband went back to the store to inquire about the belt and he was told that they would get back to him. Two hours later, I phoned Polo Cleaners and I was also told that they would get back to me. I gave them my phone number and kindly ask them to get back to me directly. They didn't call me. They called my husband, but he missed their call. When I called Polo Cleaners back, the lady told me: "you must have forgotten the belt somewhere else...the coat didn't have a belt..." After I told her that I don't forget and lose things and kindly asked her to double check and triple check in hope that she would find the belt - She repeated that I must have forgotten or lost the belt somewhere else. The conversation ended with her telling me to come the store. The same thing happened at the store - I got a firm response that I must have lost it somewhere. I told the lady that I was furious that she couldn't even acknowledge the problem, and instead she defensively implied that I must have lost the belt. My husband asked if we could see the tape because we noticed that they have a camera at the store. We were told that the camera is broken. I asked the lady: How come that there is no procedure for this? How do you protect your business and how do you protect me as your client? She said that it has never happened to them to lose an item - aren't they lucky? REFUND: I did get the refund though. I appreciate that but I just wish this was handled differently. !!!! If you ever find my belt, or can prove that there was no belt on the coat when I brought it to the store - I kindly ask you to give me a call (no questions asked) and I will remove this review and give you 5 stars. !!!! People will forgive you everything (even lost or damaged items) but they will never forget if you treated them poorly. I wish you all the best and I truly hope that this feedback will help you do better in the future.

Been there a couple times, excellent service each time. Very reasonable prices.

I have gone there for 20 years but the last time - 3 Cashmere sweater destroyed and a wool sweater destroy - Not Happy - Oh! She thinks the 3 Cashmere sweaters and 1 wool are worth $200.00 . Nope 200.00 will not cover the cost the cost to replace sweaters... where do I take my complains from here . She has cleaned my clothes for the past 20 years and now I am treated like a stranger.
