I had a terrific experience with Black Magik! We just moved into our first home with a fireplace, and they not only made us feel comfortable that everything was in tip-top condition, but also gave lots of helpful tips and hints. Very professional, thorough, and friendly. They actually went above and beyond and helped me order (and deliver & install!) a blower for my fireplace insert, so now we are really reaping the benefits of the wood heat. I will definitely call them again for future chimney sweeps!

I called around looking for a chimney sweep who could clean my flue, check the masonry on the top as well as inspect/clean the catalytic converter in my wood burning insert (the owners manual suggests this be done annually). Office staff were great, "Yup no problem!". When the guy showed up for the appointment he said he was unable to inspect the insert and I needed an authorized dealer. As for the masonry I was told pictures were taken and they'd be in touch. I called back and have been waiting over 6 weeks with no reaponse. In the end I have had to call another company to finish the job. Very disappointed Black Magik could not deliver the services requested/discussed when booking my appointment. It would have been easier for everyone and saved me money if they had been upfront with what they could or could not do when I called. Pros: Chimney was cleaned Cons: Couldn't provide any further services that I expected/requested when booking

We first used Black Magik at the beginning of the winter. The gentleman that showed up was very professional and thorough. The pricing was very reasonable. Last year, a different company gave us a quote to repair our chimney. The price was outrageous. We found out that Black Magik does chimney repairs so we decided to get a quote from them. They gave us an amazing price to completely REBUILD our chimney, as well as add a liner and attach caps. Luke was very professional and honest. He and his colleague showed up and worked hard every day. We are very happy with the finished product! The ladies in the office are such a pleasure to deal with. We mainly dealt with Margaret, but if we spoke to anyone else they were always extremely polite and helpful. We would recommend this company to anyone who needs chimney work. They are HONEST, hard working and reasonably priced. We will continue to call them whenever we need our chimney cleaned and are happy that we were able to count on them to rebuild our chimney.

Very professional and helpful group of people! I've recently had interactions with them and it was very smooth and easy. I'll be recommending them to everyone! Thank you so much!

If I could give zero stars I would. Sure, they showed up when they said they would. But that's where the good ends. The associate that arrived was less than personable, which is fine, he's got a job to do. But I would like some sort of introduction before letting a stranger into my home. Fast forward 20 minutes, he asks for payment. He gets paid, leaves and we go about our day. Walk into the basement where the stove is and there's a mess. Now we fast forward three months and the fire department is in my yard due to a chimney fire. The fire department explains that our stove should not have passed inspection and that our chimney was not cleaned. Two things we paid this business to do. After half an hour on the phone with them to explain this I didn't so much as receive an apology yet I was made to feel as if it was my fault. Do not use this business.
