I brought my comforter into Deluxe Dry Cleaners in Fall River, colour white and brownish beige. When I picked it up it was a completely different type of Beige (more orange). My Pillow shams throw pillows are now a different colour then the rest of the set. When I brought this to their attention I asked if bleach was used on my comforter and they indicated, no we do not use bleach. I was reasonable and said that if they can get the pillow shams and throw pillow covers the same colour I am ok with that. When they cleaned the shams and pillow covers they did not change colour, once again not matching the rest of my set. I received a call from Kyle and he had asked me if it was ok if they used bleach/peroxide to see if they can get to the same colour. Once they were cleaned for the second time, now using bleach/peroxide my shams all of sudden matched my comforter, however, the throw pillows did not and now have a pink border. I was very upset about this as this was a very expensive set. Because the set it not the same colour as it was when I brought it in and now does not match the throw pillows I asked to have it replaced, and I was advised that this was “not happening”. So now I am stuck with a set that does not match, and is a different colour then what it was when I first dropped it off…. They took no ownership for the fact that this has been a complete disaster and continuously pointed the blame on the manufacturer of the comforter set and myself by indicating that the colour change on the comforter could have come from the tide pods that I have used in the past, which is BS because I have used Tied Pods for years and I have had no issue…. There’s $300 down the drain.
