I have been to over 20 different dry cleaners in my lifetime and this place is by far the worst ever customer experience and service experience I have ever had. This place overcharges, doesn't deliver the quality of service that they charge for, amd have little to none customer service or even a matter of politness for customers. Last week I had dropped off 5 pieces of cushion covers of a rocking chair that were supposed to be a special antique gift for someone tomorrow (Thursday). At the time of dropping them off, I was told that someone will call me back the next day with an accurate price because the young woman who took my order did not know how much to charge for these items and ended up giving me a rough estimate. The woman had also assured me that she just gave me an inflated rough estimate of $40 And that it will be cheaper than the price she had put on the bill. I didn't get a call back until a few days later from another lady saying that this is the set price - talk about overcharging - and on top of this, I had no other choice because I needed the covers in 3 days and didn't know of any other cleaner that could do it in time, so I was forced to agree with the price.
Today I go to pick up the cushions at 7:20 (10 minutes before they close). There was a new lady by the name of Jot who claimed to be the person running the shop. She charged me for the service and later got me my covers. As I opened the bag, I started noticing that they weren't even cleaned. Instead, it looked like someone ran a vacuum across them. There were still dry stains of food on the covers that easily show that they were not cared for. When I brought this to Jot's attention, she literally rolled her eyes and asked what do I want to do. Seriously? I told her I need these redone. She then let out an annoyed sigh and continued to roll her eyes. I asked her if she had a problem with something and she replied back saying that the people she sends her dry cleaning out to are going to complain. I was extremely put off by her attitude so I told her not to worry about it and refund my money so I can go somewhere else. Right away she snapped with a NO! and said she cannot give refunds. She then had the audacity to tell me that she will send it once more, And if I don't like it then I can go somewhere else, no refunds! This lady has some real nerve. It doesn't even end here. As I go through checking each individual piece that I wanted "recleaned" she snaps back at me in a fussy tone saying, "Hurry up, it's my closing time!" Wow! I can't believe the extremely bitter attitude that Jot had. And the time was only 7:35 (5 minutes after closing), where I didn't have to waste my time in there in the first place of she only dealt with my situation professionally.
I was stuck in a position again where I am now forced to use their service so that I don't lose out on my money. The antique gift I had intended to give someone has now been ruined and I am left with such a bitter attitude once leaving the store. I'm not telling you to not go here. As a human being with a good head on your shoulders, this is your choice. All I'm saying is know what to expect from a place with staff like this. I really hope the real owners of the place (clearly not Jot) will take serious actions into training their staff with business etiquette and customer service skills first. Secondly that they find a new cleaning company to send out their garments to. I feel sorry for the people who actually own this place. If management needs to reach me they know how to - I'm in your system and haven't hidden my name in the review. With mine being the first review, I wouldn't be surprised to see a whole ton of "5 star reviews" popping out of nowhere to help hide the fact that this place really lacks even a miniscule speck of quality service or community care.
