The Dry Cleaner - Loblaws, 5970 Mclaughlin Rd

I can't give just one star because they actually did dry clean my clothes but it was a near thing. This review was written after my second visit because I always believe in giving places another chance. This place failed spectacularly...read on if you want a good idea about how this place runs... Through happenstance I have tried all 4 locations of The Dry Cleaner in west Mississauga and this is the WORST one by far. The person at the counter is rude, lazy, and shouldn't be operating this place if it makes her miserable. The first time I came here she insisted that I hand her my shirts unbuttoned and pants stacked a certain way. At first I thought it was a joke; you're making money off me and you want me to do your job for you too?! Judging from her attitude I was bothering her by daring to show up with laundry at a dry cleaner. Wow. I swore off this place for a year before deciding to return on a whim. The owner (I assume she is because no employee would dare act this way) had not changed one iota. She acted like I was bothering her, asked me to help her stack my dry cleaning, and then changed the date on my receipt from Monday to Wednesday. She explained she needed extra time to make sure everything was ready. I was not impressed. I showed up on the Wednesday, as she requested, at 10:30 AM. Their posted hours are from 10:00 AM - 6 or 7 PM depending on the day. The owner was not there and no where to be found. I actually requested staff in the store page her on the PA...nothing. She didn't even leave a note on the counter saying where she went to or how long she would be. I left because I had other things to do. I returned the next day at 10:45 AM. She was missing again! This time there were customers standing at the counter waiting for her to return. I stayed around the area and watched her nonchalantly waltz in at 10:55 AM without any apology to me or any of the three people waiting in front of me. Then I watched her berate one of them for not stacking his laundry correctly. So it's not something with me...she just has horrible customer service. I recommend you never, ever, visit this place and save yourself the experience of meeting this horrible woman. Any of the other three Dry Cleaners in the area (5010 Glen Erin Drive, 3045 Mavis Road, 3050 Argentia Road) have better staff and turnaround times; I once dropped something off at the Argentia location and it was ready the next morning! Do not ever go to this place. You can thank me later.

Great service...lady knows her stuff and how to handle customers and product...helped a bunch.

The owner who happens to be an old woman in her 50s-60s really needs to go back to customer service 101. I would like to cuss her out but didn't want to make a scene. She will actually cuss you out if you don't undo your buttons on your shirt and just today she cussed me for bringing multiple items on 2 consecutive days. She even had the nerve to criticize me for costing her 30 cents per plastic sheet (which I think is questionable) just for bringing in items on 2 separate occasions. Won't be going back!

The worst dry cleaning ever. I ask just for iron my dress and it was the same like before I don't like it.
