Now I know why this place is rated so low. Came in today and the lady acted like I was inconveniencing her by being there. She didn’t even say hello. I asked if she could simply steam a shirt for me as we were in town for a wedding and didn’t have an iron. She said “well it’s ten dollars” like she was trying to talk me out of a sale 😒 then she grabs the shirt from me and asks for my details and takes it in the back. I’m like ummmn you haven’t even said when it can be done. She’s like oh you have to come back for it tomorrow. I was like okay well I thought you could simply steam or iron now. Then she just hands me the shirt back and says nothing. I was like LOL guess not. What terrible customer service. The worst.

While they had my garments done. They sent me two emails saying they were ready only the one sent later was correct. When I went to go pick up my clothes they had 15 people waiting one lady behind the counter and three women and a man shooting the breeze in the back chit chatting

I wanted my pants hemmed and taken it so they would be fitted; they were too big (at least for my preference) and baggy on me, but that was the only size of those pants that fit my waist properly. Anyway, the lady refuses the take in the pants but says she will hem them. She said she preferred the way they were already and didn't need to be tighter, only hemmed. It was really frustrating and embarrassing to argue with her in front of other customers. She was out of line to refuse a service she knew she could provide without ruining the pants and it wasn't her place to make any type of decisions on my behalf about my own clothing. Never going there again, and I don't suggest anyone else does. I eventually got the pants taken in at Rainbow Sewing in Dundas, where the man didn't comment on my choice of alteration, he just did what was needed and had them ready the next day.

I literally brought a golf glove in with a small hole in the finger and told them I just wanted it closed up. I was well aware that it wasn't going to be perfect or look brand new. They simply said "there's nothing we can do"? Ridiculous. Ended up doing it myself with a needle and thread. Held up pretty well through a round. No idea why they wouldn't have at least tried to help me or explain to me why they felt they couldn't help. The actual girl working at the front went back to talk to the ladies doing the work, they wouldn't even talk to me. I won't bring anything here ever in the future. Horrible customer service, rude and not helpful at all.
