We hired Mario a few times to clean our house and have never had any issues. We specified exactly what we would like done and when we came back the job was done and done well. I would recommend him to anyone who needs their house cleaned :)

I run two small businesses, one of which includes training dogs, so as one can imagine my house isn’t the cleanest. Lots of dog hair, dog toys, plus the usual mess of daily life, you name it. Cleaning had gone by the wayside, so we hired Mario to come clean the house; a client of mine was using his services at the time, so we thought he’d be a good fit. The initial clean wasn’t great, but we chalked it up to the fact that the house was a hot mess, and that it would be better the second time. It was around this time my client also decided to make a change due to strange behaviour on Mario’s part, and just not being satisfied with the service. Our second service comes around, and Mario is alone. My husband was working from home, and kept tabs on what was going on. He never swept, just sort of spot-vacuumed certain areas. My husband noted that the mop smelled terrible, and Mario quickly skimmed the floors, no effort made to actually clean. He didn’t do the basboards, wainscoting, light switches or light fixtures, and didn’t clean under any of the furniture. I intentionally left a piece of trash under the entertainment unit, as well as some soil from a plant that had fallen over in the master bath, to see if they would be cleaned when he was done; both were still there when I got home, along with our small trash can left sitting on the toilet. Simply put, I could have done a better job in 30-minutes, and saved myself the $150. When I wrote him a very polite and cordial email explaining my disappointment with the cleaning, and that we would no longer be using his services (I even wished him “all the best”), he responded by saying that he wasn’t coming back anyway, that I’d have a hard time finding anyone else, and that my house was full of animal hair, feces and filth (aka dog hair, cat litter, and daily life). The good news is I’ve already found someone else, the same someone who took over for Mario from my client, who agreed that he did a terrible job cleaning both their house and mine (which was also deemed not disgusting), and that his services were a waste of money and time. So to you I say, if you’re looking for a cleaner, look elsewhere. And to Mario I say...all the best!
