My grandmother has lived here since it opened. It is a very nice facility with many amenities. Everything is very clean, the bathrooms are huge and very safe. My gramma is very well taken care of. The woman at the front desk remembered it was her birthday only a few days earlier. Little things make all the difference. I can't speak for the quality of the food, but my grandmother hasn't complained. She prefers simple food and likes the routine so that is somewhat of a non-issue for her. Not sure how much rent is, but I know it is not inexpensive. From what I have seen it seems to be worth it as she is cared for well.

Most of the staff are good with my Mother, some are absolutely wonderful like Glenda and Strawberry. But depending on the chef, food goes from good to Absolutely Horrible. For the past week or two, the food has been good. Sometimes it feels like there are not enough staff or there is no communication between staff. On certain things my Mother has just given up asking because nothing gets done. November. The staff that take care of my Mom are still good but the food keeps getting worse. We believe this place is more concerned about making money and not the care of the people living there.

My parents have lived here for a year, the facility has removed the Sunday Brunch, the daily meals are terrible, mostly boiled and then some weakened sauce seared over the top. NO extras, like rolls, bread, crackers, even potatoes! Also the monthly rent is going up by 1 1/2 percent which equals around $90.00 more per month. Also there are charged even if they don't eat a meal, also they can opt to have have a meal but are charged for a whole portion. My Mom has lost 35 pounds in a year, not good! They meal issue is a really big for the entire building but the management does not want to listen, and the rent is really high. I wish the food was more nutritious, I just received a response, however I truly believe that Laurie is not aware that this issue involves the majority of the residents that are able to go down to the eating area on their own. Many have said DO NOT decorate so much and spend the money on better prepared food. The kitchen is only used to hear food up, not to prepare wholesome meals. Also the costs only going up but the pleasure of a good meal is just not there, especially the Supper menu. Can you install a system where the residents are only charged for what they consume??

The staff are extremely hard working and caring. They go above and beyond for the residents on a daily basis. I have worked very closely with Rose over the last year and she is one of the nicest, most caring ladies I have ever met.

Not only does my mom love it here but so do I! I am at ease knowing that she's in a good place. She really enjoys the variety of activities and the place is kept very clean!!
