All About Seniors is a life saver! My father has dementia and is in a home in Calgary. I live in the United States with my husband and kids and I am not able to see and spend time with Dad as often as I would love to. One cannot imagine the amount of guilt I feel. It was suggested to me to get him a companion, someone who could come and spend time with him as often as I would like, so I did. All About Seniors contacted me to find out about my Dads likes, dislikes, favorite movies, music, etc. They then paired him up with someone they felt would be compatible with my Dad. It has been the best decision I have ever made!! They are absolutely AMAZING!! After every visit, I receive a lengthy, detailed email from the companion informing me of the visit and how it went. It makes me feel as though I am there. It gives me peace of mind and I have let go of some of the guilt since All About Seniors. Even though my Dad cannot articulate it, I know he looks forward to spending time with his companion. If you have a loved one in a home and you are not able to spend time with them as you would like, please don't hesitate in using this service. They are truly the best of the best! I thank God for them everyday!

Leslie has taken care of my mother for several years now and she is a gem. She understands my mother's difficult health problems and takes on the challenges with competence and compassion. Beyond care-giving, Leslie is a genuine advocate for my mother - ensuring she has what she needs for daily living as well as maximizing her enjoyment of life under difficult circumstances. She provides my sister and me with daily emails about my mother's activities during the day which keeps us in touch with her life, even though we live so far away. No one has improved my mother's quality of life as much as Leslie and my sister and I are very grateful to her and All About Seniors for making Leslie happen for us.

What a fantastic company! They were a godsend when I needed it. All About Seniors helped with companionship for my 85 year old father. They took him on Tim's trips and kept him company. He looked forward to their visits all the time. I work full time and live across the City, so to have someone spend some extra time with my father helped my sanity. The owner/coordinator Lynn is wonderful to work with, and spends time to find out exactly what you need. Why are you waiting to call?? Sue S

I wanted to write a review for All About Seniors and was having trouble finding a way to express how I feel, so I decided to copy and paste the email I sent to All About Seniors expressing my gratitude, as below......... I just wanted to send out my extreme appreciation to Michael. I donâ€™t know how to put into words the relief I feel knowing Dad has a good consistent friend to interact with. Thank you for your emails of your visits, they give me a feeling of calm, involvement and also seeing Dadâ€™s situation from another's eyes. Michael, your patience and care is wonderful, thank you. Thank you to Paul as well, for the time you spent with Dad while Michael was on holidays. You and Dad hit it off which was awesome. I worried about change but Dad took it in stride. Dadâ€™s a good judge of character. Thank you so much. Also, Julie, thank you to you, Vanessa and Lynn. I am so happy I found All About Seniors when I googled. Talking with Lynn right after I sent in the inquiry gave me such a great feeling of hope. Hope that my dad can exist with dignity and importance.
