I toured this facility earlier this week. If is quite lovely I'd love to stay there.

We recently moved my Mom into the Brentwood Care Centre and I cannot say enough about the staff. Prior to my Mom moving in we had access to the room (only because it was available early) and had the ability to move in her things and set the room up prior to her arrival. On the day of the arrival Sandy the Welcome Coordinator met us in the lobby. She was great talking to my Mom, welcoming her, giving her information that made Mom feel right at home. Sandy explained how the laundry system works, how to get pictures hung, meal times, etc. etc. Shortly after that, the same day, Maria the Social Worker met with me to go through all of the paperwork. She was very thorough. I also had some insurance paper work to get filled in from the Brentwood centre along with the Doctor that would assigned to my Mom. Maria took care of all of it. And I do mean all of it. She chased down what ever documents were required for the insurance claim. Which I can't say thank you enough. When you are trying to ensure you are getting a loved one into a place you feel is good for them, having someone lighten your load is a huge benefit. The rest of the staff I have encountered to date have been very nice to deal with. They are great with my Mom. They caught her sense of humor quickly and like to engage with her. They all seem to have a smile and are always helpful when I have a question or need some help. Overall, I'm really happy my Mom is at the Brentwood. Thank you everyone.

My dad moved to this facility last year. Staff was good but the sad thing about it they don't understand your feelings. My dad passed away jan5th/2021.They did not tell us what happened. Nurse called us jan3rd 9pm said, your dad is not feeling well. He was taking insulin for his blood sugar everyday. She said his body is not responding to insulin. We asked them if we can meet our dad. They said no because of covid they only allowed visitor end of death. next day we called all day if we can see our dad, they didn't let us to see our dad and jan5th nurse called 2 am in the morning your dad is passing out. We asked if we can come to see him. She said, No .after 10 minutes she said, he passed away. Which funeral home you want us to send his body. They knew my dad was not feeling well. They should let us to see him last time. I don't recommended this facility.
