My mum is a happy resident there.. she loves it and compares it to a holiday vacation. She is always doing something exciting and enjoys her nutritious meals. The nurses ND aides are amazing as are the ladies at t desks and in the financial office. Top marks from us!

My grandpa died after being there for less than 48 hours. The negligence of knowledge of how he needed to be taken care of was utterly disgusting. They didn’t know he was paralyzed from a stroke and I’m fairly certain they hadn’t given him any water. When I came to see him his mouth was extremely dry and he had died 30 minutes after I had shown up. Don’t ever put any loved ones in this neglectful prison. You will regret it.

My grandfather and grandmother were both moved in here in Aug of 2021, my Grandfather needed 24/7 care and the staff were nothing short of exceptional. They treated him with dignity, care and respect. He was in a very vulnerable position and I could tell they really cared for him and made him feel loved. Before he died he told me how much he loved them and when he died they were very compassionate. My grandmother lived there and moved rooms after his passing and again the staff were amazing. My grandma said she loved it there and felt so loved. The girls would always come and call her Mama, give her hugs and say goodnight before the end of their shift! They would even give her a special tuna sandwich if she didn't like the meal for the day, they were always trying to make her day brighter! I am so grateful that this was the experience of both my grandparents before they passed, it is scary moving into long term care not knowing what it looks like and the staff here made it a beautiful experience. Thank you again for everything you did for the Sailers.

My mothers two year stay at George Boyack was the worst nightmare that she ever experienced in her life. The call Bell system was unreliable, and she would sit in her mess for hours at a time and phone her daughter, myself, to phone them and ask them to go and clean her up. She fell quite seriously twice that we are aware of and her emergency call button that she wore on her wrist did not work. She wound up one time crawling to the door and screaming for help. That particular time she wound up with two broken ribs, and she had to crawl to get help. The second time she fell, that we are aware of she actually broke skin on her face and was bleeding and had to again crawl to the door of her suite to call for help because her emergency button didn’t work. My mom was terrified the entire time she was there. She was scared she would fall on the floor and hurt her self in such a way that she would die on the floor before she could get help because she couldn’t crawl to the door to scream for help. For us family it was a nightmare we felt she was very much neglected and in someways almost abused at George Boyack. We were never so happy as we were when we heard that she was being moved to Providence and I have a review of Providence in comparison to George Boyack. My mom aptly named George Boyack as the bargain basement home.

I'm not commenting about whether this place is good or bad. I was just here for a site tour and just hope the pictures help with anyone who is doing their research like I am.
