I feel so sorry for the staff, its way two understaffed, not updated anything, stuff goes missing , dropped my grandma 3 times, food is fit for my dog everything is cold. The long term dementia ward sounds like a psycho ward with the yelling and screams of help me! It’s a nice trip to hell.

Maybe two years ago my girlfriend and I were visiting her grandmother. When we first arrived to visit, the staff member seemed very annoyed and in a rush, didn’t say a word, threw PPE on us, explained nothing about the procedures, dragged us down the hall to the room then vanished. Upon leaving the room were berated by the same staff member for not following protocol, accidentally wearing the covid medical gowns out of her grandmothers room, instead of discarding them in the room, and for not contacting her when we were leaving. After being humiliated and in tears my girlfriend complained to management who then tried to turn it around on us for not following procedures that their own staff couldn’t have taken 2 minutes to explain to us. We even remarked that if it was a bad time for a visit a polite “I’m sorry we’re really busy right now can you come back at another time” would have been acceptable. After this experience my girlfriend felt very uncomfortable going inside to visit her grandmother lest we be berated by angry staff. So we resumed only doing window visits until her grandmother passed a short time later. This incident has always bothered me and stuck in the back of my mind. That a staff member could be so rude, to make a family member feel so uncomfortable to go inside and visit a dying family member in what is THEIR home which THEIR family is paying for. To be robbed of a final visit or conversation and have them rather stand outside in the cold then come inside their facility again. Unforgivable.

My dad was a resident for 22 months. Good care. Overall, staff and management very good. Receiptionist (Kayla) is fantastic. Most HCA's, that were associated with 2200 nursing station were excellent. Staff were very communicative on providing updates and maintaining resident dignity. Dietician very involved with resident nutrition and consumption changes and regularly discussed changes needed. Food and Laundry services were good. The facility had trouble retaining hair salon provider and when there was an individual available, instructions were not followed. Not good results. Physio/OT department had inconsistencies - stories changed (head of dept in particular. Does not come across as sincere/professional). Jacki (OT dept) was always helpful tho. Cleanliness of facility - good. Nice to have several dining areas. Lots of entertainment and activities. Semi-Private rooms in new wings have a good set up with private bedrooms and shared bathrooms. Only saw a couple of rooms that had 2 beds. Overall would recommend this care center, in particular in one of the newer wings. Wider hallways, taller ceilings, etc.
