My dad was first placed here out of the hospital and spent less than a month there but I really liked it for a number of reasons. The staff seemed really good, very friendly. My dad had more freedom there than at his new place. The location is actually really good, lots of shops/restaurants I could easily push dad's wheelchair to (new place has nothing close!). My dad really liked the food and it smelled delicious! The building is a little older, but the new renos are nice. I was really worried reading the Google reviews before dad went there, but I was pleasantly surprised and feel the negative reviews don't reflect the staff or facility that I saw. Dad only moved to a different care facility because it was closer to home and one he was already familiar with otherwise he would have stayed at Mount Royal. Thank you for the care you gave him!

We wish to Thank everyone for the special care they gave Jim and all of us his family. They went above and beyond to help Jim settle and took care of Jim as if he was one of their own family members. Not only was Jim treated with excellent care, we as his family were treated with the upmost respect and made us feel so welcome when ever we stopped in. Not only did they treat Jim special, they were so caring to everyone they have in their care. They take on our special family members as if they were there families. I am so very grateful to, this care home, that took in Jim and helped make his time there, as short as it was, so caring and safe for him. We the Family of James Lively, Thank you from our Hearts for the Special care everyone of you gave Jim. Judy, Terry, Lee Lively

The facility is older but cozy and very clean. It's situated in a very beautiful part of the city and all the rooms are bright and well appointed. I've been told that the food is good and have seen nothing but great care from the staff. They have a lovely outside space surrounded by beautiful mature trees. Each floor has a common room where family can visit with residents of the building. Having someone in this situation is not ideal for anyone but I feel the staff are doing their best to meet the needs of the residents and their families.

The building is quite old; it doesn't give a good first impression (they appear to be going through a lot of renos - so it's getting better). But, the staff is really caring - and they know their stuff. I looked around. The swanky/newer facilities look great, but the staff don't know anything (there's always new people). I'm going with the better staff.

This place is deplorable. The nurses and/or care aides are rude and neglectful and go out of their way to hide my Father's call bell. The building itself needs to be torn down and my Father's room is 85 degrees on the best days. He is crammed into a room with another person and you can barely move in the room. The care aides don't provide water and can't be bothered to turn on the lights. Run away screaming from this place and DO NOT have loved ones placed here. It's worse than a joke of a facility, they are neglectful and it's no surprise a class action lawsuit has been levelled against Revera for their grossly neglectful practises.
