I would highly recommend the services of Qualicare for anyone looking for independent Homecare. Our mom was diagnosed with fibrosis of the lungs and was dependent on home oxygen. In addition, she was on a number of prescriptions and lived by herself on an acreage outside of the city. We managed to let her live independently for over a year with just the help of my siblings and myself. Needless to say, it was very stressful looking after mom and maintaining full time jobs. It involved alot of juggling and frustrations. When mom agreed to meet Jaime it was literally a miracle! The first meeting was wonderful and Jaime was sensitive to moms reluctance to bring in homecare and alleviated all of her concerns. Jaime tailored in home care around moms wants and it was adjusted as her needs increased. It then allowed us to visit with mom and not have to be her caregivers. What a complete relief it was to know that there was someone there looking after her every need. Jaime tailored the caregivers to the ones that mom aligned with and it allowed mom to stay in her home which was most important. We cannot thank Qualicare enough for the compassionate care and service provided and would hands down recommend them to anyone in need of home care services. Sincerely, Susan Luzi

The journey with a family member with Alzheimer's is extremely challenging. Finding quality caregivers to take care of your loved one can be equally challenging. I was fortunate to find Jaime, David and their staff in the earlier years of my Mom's illness. I can not quite express, just how much they helped my mom over the years. She is still in her home today because of the great care and assistance she received from the Qualicare Calgary Agency. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is in need of reliable, trustworthy, and experienced care for a senior suffering from any illness requiring in-home care.

My mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's about a year and a half ago. It was such a difficult diagnosis to accept in her early 60s. Qualicare has been such a positive influence in our lives during this transition. Jaime Puchalski met with my parents and hand-selected a caregiver she knew would be a good fit. I appreciate that the same caregiver arrives at my mom's house, two days a week, and it's a constant that our family has grown to depend on. Her and her caregiver have developed a relationship, she gets out of the house despite the fact she no longer drives, and they help with taking mom to appointments. I would recommend Qualicare to anyone searching for care of a loved-one. They truly are committed to supporting families, no matter what level of support they need.
