Attentive staff, buildings being renovated by competent workers, modernizing the outside of the towers.

Location, location, location! Shopping and groceries are within walking distance. Buses are just outside the door. Absolutely a first rate garden area to visit your friends while listening to the fountain babble away. Yes, it is an older building but renovations are ongoing giving us new windows and added space to our suites. Coffee in the morning is a great way to meet other tenants. There is no other place in town at these prices that give you all your utilities and cable access. Please come and join us.

Matheson Seniors’ Residence has been a wonderful home to me for over seven years. I could never have imagined, with my low income, I would be living in such a beautiful place at such a low price: a big bachelor in very good condition with huge floor to ceiling windows - lots of light, helpful staff, friendly residents, exercise room, all kinds of recreational activities and a friendly little restaurant, stores and buses almost at the door, the most stunning garden, and so much more… If you need something fixed the maintenance men are there in no time, the receptionist has a smile to knock your socks off, there’s always a joke or a warm hello in the elevator, and someone to talk to in the main floor area. “It’s like a small village,” a visitor remarked. Well, life is what you make it, but sometimes others make it so much better! I am deeply grateful to be here.
