My mother has been at Among Friends since July 2015 and her care has been excellent. We looked into a number of other facilities but noticed when we found Among Friends that it had a very warm homelike feeling, is kept very clean and the staff is very competent, friendly and caring. We visit her unannounced on different days and different times of the day and she is always very well cared for, which is of great comfort to our family. Kim, the owner, always keeps us informed on how she is doing and always lets us know immediately if there are any major changes or concerns with her health. The staff plays different games with them, reads to them and on Fridays they take the residents on an outing to the local senior center a few blocks away. Among Friends is an excellent choice. My mother lives at Among Friends and she is superbly cared for. In fact, since she moved in a year ago, she is healthier and in better spirits than she has been in the previous 5 years! The owners, staff, and facilities are excellent, and I appreciate their great communication and flexibility.
