Excellent 24 hour care for my out of town surgery. Care at Home Services provided a pickup service from the surgery center to my hotel and picked up my medications. While I recovered the nurses kept my medication on track and monitored my health. I would recommend their professional services to anyone. A 5 star company.

We hired Care at Home a few years ago to provide social visits to our mother, who has dementia and no nearby family members able to visit her care home regularly. The first person they provided was terrific, a kind, caring young woman who spoke French (as does our mother) and seemed to form a meaningful bond during her visits. However, when she left to return to school, they were never able to provide consistent, reliable service. The worst was when we discovered that the person hired wasn't even visiting, and we were still being charged. We only discovered this when my sister visited from out of town and the nursing staff at our mother's care home said they assumed we'd cancelled the service, because they hadn't seen anyone from Care at Home for weeks. So this situation could easily have continued indefinitely, had we not discovered it. Care at Home supposedly has a check-in system in place to ensure their employees are where they should be, when they should be, but it obviously wasn't being enforced, as they could provide no proof of visits. In the end Care at Home did refund us for 6 visits we'd already paid for, and cancel our final invoice for a further 7 visits, as no service had been provided. Bottom line: don't use this company, unless you have a way of checking that they're actually providing the service you're being billed for.

Its not just about the quality of the Licensed Nurses and the Registered Care Aids that care for me. Its about the owner and her office staff hearing me. I suffered 3 bad car crashes and need very high level medical, emotional and understanding support. My nurses need the x factor and the owner and her team go the extra mile to make sure I have continuity of care. my Dr wants me to have super skilled professional LPN Sukhdeep as primary carer and immensely talented LPN Navi as secondary and these guys fulfilled it. What agencies actually hear their clients like that? I am an ICBC client and know that this homecare agency puts my health and well being first. They have NEVER let me down or compromised my care. Trust them and you wont be sorry...just talk to them... Christine is my consultant here and checks in when ever I want and Lead manager Tracey is here and available in person or by phone anytime. I have no complaints and am grateful to them for keeping me alive.
