My sister has been living in this facility for about a month now. From the minute she was welcomed with open arms on her first day, until now, I've never been more impressed with her "new home" and it's staff. The meals are wonderful. The cleaning staff does an excellent job. The Recreation staff goes out of their way to keep residents busy and involved. The Manager and nurses are approachable and very knowledgeable. I've never felt like I was a "bother" asking them questions. Cheryl Moore, Director of Care, must be given special mention: she takes her job VERY seriously. She is kind, welcoming, funny, efficient and a master of what she does. A true ambassador for the Villa. Keep up the great work, Team! :)

I live nearby and can hear the residents (which the staff call patients) yelling for a nurse to attend to him/her all throughout the night and no one ever comes. I have heard multiple staff members say "someone escaped again" and refer to their 'patients' as "crazy old hag" or other inappropriate and inhumane names. One lady is left in the hot sun with no one attending to her or even watching her from afar. She wanders back and forth up and down the side walkway of the villa enclosed by a heavy duty metal fence with locked with an alarm code that one of the nicer staff ladies told me is changed on a regular basis because every so often one of the patients finds the code written down by a employee in case it's forgotten and "tries to make a run for it". This lady is left outside to walk back and forrh over and over again until she eventually starts to talk to herself for what I can only imagine is due to lack of entertainment.. she's very sweet and always very desperate to talk with me If she sees me. If someone happens to see this (which they do only because they hate that I sit and read in front of their windows and they despise it..probably because I have clear sight to what they do) then they suddenly come rushing out and tell the lady to continue minding her own buisness and walk back and forth in the hot sun. Usually after 2 hours they let her bsck inside. It's quite concerning to hear these poor poeple calling for aid and never recieving it or to hear the staff call them insults and treat them with a lack of concern similar to how we would treat an unwanted animal.
