This is just what mom needed at the time. Huge help, great staff and beneficial advice. Would recommend to anyone that is looking for extra care and attention for a senior. Gave us peace of mind when we needed it the most.

I am very pleased with Home Instead! My mother’s caregiver is great. Also, the office team is very responsive to any inquiries or concerns that I have. This is not the case with all companies and is so important. Thank you!

I am so grateful to Jeremiah and his team for all their help this year in securing the perfect CAREgiver for my elderly mom. We got off to a bit of a rocky start with securing care at first as my mom, like many, was very resistant to any sort of care. After an unexpected hospital stay in October, it became evident that “no” was no longer an option and Jeremiah worked hard to secure the PERFECT person to support her. While I have a large extended family, everyone has their own lives to attend to and I felt it was important to secure a professional to assist my mom regularly. After two months now, my mom and her CAREgiver have developed a lovely relationship. She always tells me how much of a hardworker she is, that she is a fantastic cook and that it’s clear she is very responsible and trustworthy. As I live so far away from my mom, it’s so comforting to know that she has this support. I’m extremely grateful and look forward to continuing to work with Home Instead.

I had no idea where to start looking for help for my mother as this was my first experience sourcing an aide/companion. So I went directly to the internet and started searching. After several conversations with "senior care" companies, I settled on Home Instead Senior Care with Jeremiah's Team. It was the best decision for my mother and me. Jeremiah paired her with a lovely young lady that had a lot of patience and was always kind and willing to help my mother in whatever capacity she needed help. Jeremiah and his team are to be commended for their commitment to their clients, the care and companionship they provide as well as going the extra mile. He even hung shower curtains for my mother and did lots of extras. What a guy! Thank you Jeremiah and Amanda

Jeremiah and his team at Home Instead are the premier home care company in Richmond and Surrey. A few things immediately come to mind that set them apart from the competition: 1. Their caregivers are REALLY trained in Alzheimer's and dementia--I cannot emphasize how important this is. 2. Jeremiah and his team will work tirelessly to ensure that your loved one has a caregiver who is a great match (language, culture, interests). This makes it so much easier to provide care for seniors who are initially resistant to having help. 3. They are RESPONSIVE. They always have someone available to answer the phone and tend to your needs. Most places that I called went to voicemail on a weekend. This is not the case with with Home Instead and I cannot tell you how much peace of mind this gives. In summary, you cannot go wrong with Home Instead. If you are looking for some much needed peace of mind, they should be your first and only call.
