I can’t feasibly say enough great things about Woodgrove Manor. My mother spent the final year of her life there. She needed to enter full time care because of worsening dementia. But she was terrified to go into a care home. But we were so fortunate she was able to go here. The level of love, respect, and friendship she was shown went beyond anything I ever thought someone would receive in a care home. There were always plenty of staff to attend to the residents. They worked hard to keep the residents socializing They offered constant activities to keep everyone happy. Unfortunately, on top of dementia my mother also had Breast cancer. I wish she’d had more time. But the care home went so far out of their way to keep her comfortable and make her feel loved right to the end. They also took the time to support me as well. The staff are all truly remarkable people.

When looking for a place for our 94 year old Mom with dementia, no place seemed to be good enough, especially for someone so important to us. However, reality was that she could no longer live on her own and my brother and I choose Woodgrove Manor. This would prove to be a decision that we would later be very grateful for. The care and compassion of staff and management was above anything we could have hoped for. Then, in our Mom's final days, the respect and and treatment of both our Mom and family was beyond reproach. Placing a loved one in a carehome is no easy task, however we will forever be grateful for the care and support provided by the staff at Woodgrove Manor.

I just returned from a care conference for my Aunt, who has been living at Woodgrove Manor for over six years. The staff there are wonderful and it is like visiting old friends when I am there. I just want to thank them publicly for all the care they give the residents and let them know how much I appreciate their smiling, friendly faces.

Caring and professional care teams!

I am grateful for the care, compassion and most especially humour the team at Woodgrove Manor showed my mother in her final months. For myself, Arnel helped me navigate the transitions my mother went through right up until the end. Thank you.
