The chef, dining staff, and kitchen are accommodating and pleasant. They go out of their way to meet the requests of the people they serve. The chef himself comes upstairs to ask us how we are doing! My clients use their facilities once a week for activities and they are served fresh cookies and muffins with a beautiful fruit platter each time. They especially love the chocolate chip cookies! Thank you to Armand and his team for making out us feel welcomed and at home at Maison.

My father and his partner have been living at the Maison, West Vancouver since May 2017. The activity programs are quite varied and while the residents do not necessarily attend continuously and successive events, they are encouraged to select from up to eight different activities each day. (seven days per week). As just one example - The Christmas holiday celebration this year has includes some very talented performers from the West Van area. The residents and guests gathered in large numbers to experience the violin and guitar presentation. The food has always been good each time I dined with my folks. There are three dining areas in the complex which individually address the needs of their residents and guests. In addition a casual open area called "the Bistro" offers fresh coffee, muffins and other bakery items 24-7. The resident personal care staff are all very kind and attentive and responsive to needs. The management level personnel are always responsive to the family's questions and concerns and coordinate the medical and physical needs in a very professional manner. We had tried in-home-nursing care for a nearly two years before contacting the Maison and found home care lacking in many of the services and social advantages that the Maison are providing. We have no complaints about the Maison! C and M Outtrim

An absolute eyesore in the area that has ruined the neighborhood vibe. This gaudy corner building has just added to the chaos of the junction and been a poor addition in West Vancouver since the beginning.

A very luxurious seniors home with different levels of care. They really need to improve their food and cater to their special needs population of various ages and aging dietary needs. The staff are all VERY kind and loving to the residents FIVE STARS FOR THE RESIDENT CARE AIDES

Don't be fooled...this is a luxury prison. No environment and sterile. Residents are treated like preschoolers, the food is bad and repetitive. Breakfasts consist of the same thing every single day: 1 bland scrambled egg or porridge, canned fruit and 1 piece of toast and 1/2 cup of coffee. Good luck getting refills. Residents have no voice or opinions. Residents are forced to do activities they don't like and unbeneficial. Examples include singing childrens songs, hitting a balloon with a swimming noodle and being read stories equivalent to a grade 2 story book. Residents are bored and often sit in front of the tv in main areas. Showers are once a week and in between showers, residents are cleaned with wet wipes. By midweek the residets hair is completly greasy and their head smells rancid. This place is also inappropriate for people of different cultures as they do not care to their cultural needs. The Caregivers are very nice but must follow rules. Extremely expensive for what you get. Stay home and get home support!
