I have nothing but good to say about this Dunwood Place and the staff. Everyone has been very pleasant and helpful. I would like to give a big shout out to the renovation crew. First time they showed me my suite, the other tenant's things were still in there and the place was a disaster, and I was moving in one week. I went home broken 😢. Although the lady, showing me the suite, told me not to worry it would be all cleaned up for me in less than a week. Somehow I didn't believe her. Well....when I saw my suite on moving day, it was like magic, the suite was totally transformed. Carpets removed, wood flooring had been installed, holes in the walls all fixed, appliances cleaned, a total paint job. A totally different place, clean and bright. I would of sworn that it was impossible. I know I will be very happy here. The only problem I see is the parking. I wish we had our our designated parking spots. I am still new here so I have not experienced all the amenities in the building as of yet. But at this time I give this place a definite 5. Five months later...I am very happy and content here. The building is very clean and well maintained. Thank you 😊 💓 Dunwood for my new home.

If I could give zero stars I would. An employee here. She is very tall and skinny with short dark hair and dark skin. Came storming out of the building to yell at me because I was getting picked up after visiting my mother....apparently I have to walk there and back as vehicles are not permitted to even stop. I live to far away so I guess I won't be able to visit my mother anymore. I hope your staff gets fired for being so rude...she could've talked nicely but No . I hope she doesn't talk to the residents like that .

We were searching for a nice place for my mother to live. We were recommended by a friend to check out The Dunwood in NewWestminster. When I called I was greeted by a very nice women who took the time to find out what we were looking for and cared enough to ask many questions, which made me feel this is the place. My sister and myself took my mother to look at the building and see what The Dunwood had to offer. We were amazed at the facilities and how it is maintained. The staff were so welcoming and knowledgeable that we knew at that moment my mom would fit right in and we also knew that while living here she would make many friends. My mom is 87years young and she has lived at The Dunwood for three weeks. She calls us everyday to tell us about how nice her apt is and how caring all the staff are. She has met many new people and has started to get together with them to have tea, go to bingo and eat many of her meals in the coffee shop on site or on the 11th. floor every Monday ,Wednesday and Friday. I would like to say thank you to the staff for helping us make my moms life more enjoyable. Bobbie Prosser
