BEWARE! DONT USE THIS AGENCY! Saw their commercial on News 12 Long Island and was very hopeful because of how professional the commercial portrayed the agency. I called on a weekend and spoke with Tatum. I told her the specifics and intricacies of my parent's case and was assured it was no problem. She was very pleasant but regrettably , from here on, dealing with this agency was a complete nightmare! I never received a follow up call from Tatum. I left detailed messages throughout the week with Sara and Taylor to no avail. Trying to get through to this agency via the main switchboard is an aberration! Sandra, the receptionist, is extremely rude, curt and abrasive and a shameful first impression of the agency. Regrettably, Sandra's apathy and lack of professionalism is consistent with the cannon of customer service in each and every employee I spoke with. Most repugnant of all, was when I spoke with Bonnie who claimed to be in charge of quality. In speaking with her, I quickly realized why this agency was in shambles and lack basic courtesy and business ettiquette. She too complained to me about Sandra, told me to write an email complaining about Sandra because she wants to get her fired and not to tell Taylor because he and Sandra were friends. This was my FIRST conversation with her and THIS is what she shared with me! One must question the integrity and professionalism of a company whose quality, or in this case, lack thereof is in the hands of someone as unprincipled as Bonnie. After 3 weeks of chasing after this agency, being ignored and treated so poorly, I finally was connected with Tatum and as soon as I got on the phone she asked me to please hold on with no explanation. Next thing I knew, Bonnie got on the phone and said they could not staff the case. Mind you, 3 weeks of very patiently waiting on my end had transpired as I placed my trust and confidence in what turned out to be a sham of an agency. Bonnie would not let me get a word in, she said she was very busy, she couldn't be bothered, she rushed me off the phone and eventually hung up on me without me even being able to ask her a single question. "OK good luck good bye". This unscrupulous and indignant approach to a client is abhorrent and a complete embarrassment to the noble profession of home care. I subsequently called 2 times to speak to the director and my calls were never returned. The lack of follow up while not a surprise speaks volumes to the caliber of this agency. I reported my interactions with the so called agency to the NYS Department of Health in an effort to spare other family members and caregivers the ordeal that we experienced at the hands of Serene. You should be ASHAMED of yourselves for running such an unprofessional SHAM of a business. You purport yourselves as an organization that is there to care for people but lack the very basics of service, hospitality, compassion and ethics. Shame on you! NOTE: The 5 Star Reviews posted on here are FAKE & posted to boost their rating. Just look and see for yourself!
