It has taken me a long time to write this review. My Dad moved to Post Inn in July 2020 and died in December 2020 after contracting Covid 19 in the home. Post Inn’s lack Covid policies with regards to staff led to my father’s death. They learned nothing from that outbreak as demonstrated by the virtual meeting they held to discuss their report of findings about the outbreak. To add insult to injury when we went to pick up my father’s belongings they were piled like garbage on top of his wheelchair at the front door of the home - no supervision, anyone could have taken his things. When we asked if we could have help loading up his manual wheelchair we were told no. When he moved in in July the staff were very eager to help move his items in - of course they were, we were about to sign up to pay them lots of money to care for him. Once he died they couldn’t care less. Post Inn Village and the Ford government are responsible for my Dad’s death, but have faced zero consequences.

My mum was transferred to the Post Inn Village directly from the hospital in December. We are so glad this is where she was placed. She is in the Willow unit and we cannot say enough good things about the staff who are working so hard during this pandemic. The staff are so kind to my father who visits every day and always have a smile and kind words for my mum when we take her for walks around the floor in her wheelchair. It has eased my father's worry tremendously to know that she is well cared for when family cannot be there.

My mother in law has alzheimer and was at another home in Mississauga, where we witnessed people coming and not lasting long. We watched her health go down hill quickly. We transferred her to Post Inn Village 3 years ago and we watched her health drastically improve. The care and attention to the residents are second to none. The food is actually tasty and healthy and the nurses make sure that everyone has been fed. They keep you up to date on the status of her health and someone is always available if you have any questions or concerns. They had very little COVID cases and contained the cases to a small number. I highly recommend this place to take care of your loved one. He or she will be in great hands and the best care.

The staff at Post Inn Village, especially the Maple unit, are exceptional!! Caring for the residents isn't simply a job to them. They go above and beyond with care and compassion on a regular basis. Most recently, my father Richard A., contracted the coronavirus. They were constantly keeping our family updated on his medical status through telephone calls, FaceTime video chats, text messages and emails. Everyone from the PSWs, Nurses, Life Enrichment Therapists, doctor, dietician, nutritionist, kitchen staff and Nursing Manager went over and above every single day ensuring a successful recovery for my father. I highly recommend Post Inn Village for any one looking for a safe and caring environment for their loved one.

Our Grandma lives here it is horrendous. Her health has steeply declined since she moved into this facility. She arrived in the facility with strong walking abilities with a walker and now cannot get out of a wheel chair on her own or even stand without support. There is no CARE here, it is just a long term stay. Her cognitive function has declined and there is nothing being done. She was always mentally sharp and able to keep a conversation but that has begun to change.
