Staffs great managements horrendous. If you're expecting communication about your loved ones go somewhere else. I've seen them sweep borderline illegal stuff under the rug. They also ripped me off and never paid me my vacation pay even after dozens of requests. Bottom line they're shady go somewhere else.

If you care about your loved one, DON'T take them here!! My family member only needed a place to be cared for after his wife died. He is now in a vegetative state. NO COMMUNICATION from staff!! I always have to check that he's still alive when I go visit. HUGE staffing change over!! Thought it might be better with new staff, now it's MUCH worse!!!

I have worked here so many times through an agency. I understand how short staffed every facility (not just here in Revera) goes sometimes because nurses get sick too or they have their own family to take care, too. But what I noticed is that Revera wouldn't leave a shift short...They always call agencies and a nurse always arrives. I am very much amazed and grateful of the very hardworking PSW's here in Revera (Thornton). The care and support they provide to all the residents are beyond amazing. They are very competent in what they do. As a nurse, I am grateful to have work with them.

My father has been here for about 2 weeks now and it’s been great so far . All the staff have been really nice and accommodating. The food has been great . Ive been there for a few meals with my dad and watched him gobble up every bite. Very kind and caring staff from what I can see . Glad my father got into such an awesome place . Definitely recommend

My Mom was a resident at Thortonview for many years. They were constantly cleaning everywhere. I lived nearby so I was there at all different times. My Mom was a handful to say the least. lol She never had a bed sore or unknown bruises. The meals were always excellent and I was offered meals many times. I only saw kindness by everyone involved in her care. I had regular meetings with dietician , physiotherapy, director, etc. Any changes to her medication I was called to explain the reason and ask permission to start it. She saw the doctor there regularly. During our regular meetings I was given a record of all programs she attended, how often she participated any problems she might be having.During her final week on earth we were put in a palliative care room. There was music available that she could relate to, all kinds of food brought in daily for anyone coming to say goodbye. Being there for six days, twenty four hours a day I got a great look how everyone was treated, from behind the scenes. Nobody was forced to go to bed at a specific time if they wanted to stay up or watch t.v. Everyone appeared to be clean over the years. Of course some things got misplaced! They also took such good care of me while there that last week providing everything I needed whether I asked or not. I already told my family that I would have no problem going there if the need arises. I had friends that didn't listen when they had to send their loved one to l.t.c. and went somewhere else. They are very sorry now that they didn't listen to me. Their loved ones are not receiving the care they had hoped for. Aside from Covid I also enjoyed all of the different festivities they had going on for the residents and their families.
