I volunteer at Roberta’s place long term care. It’s such an amazing place seeing all the people around me smile and laugh is the best. Everyone likes to make jokes to make me laugh. All the workers are amazing they know how to treat everyone with respect!

I've worked here and can honestly say the residents made my job as they were lovely people. As part of the housekeeping staff I can tell you that there was poor management and the Residents were normally unhappy with their meals and when they had issues they were not normally answered promptly. Management seem to care more about marketing their rooms , and filling beds, than the actual residents themself. The PSW/Housekeeping/and dietary aides are paid poor wages and have to take on a huge workload due to management/Jarlette wanting to save money and cut corners so there is one of the worst turnover rates in Barrie hence they are always hiring. If you want to have a family member live here - speak to current residents and current staff for honest opinions. In terms of cleanliness and activities they can offer I'd give 4**** , but over all 1****
