The staff were friendly and helpful to my mum who was there except for the Occupational therapist (Denise) who never provided the help we needed. She was procrastinating with her illogical reasoning to the point that my mum lost all function and twas a quick passing. Would never recommend this place just because of her!

It’s better to be at a concentration camp than work here

My mother unfortunately has Alzheimer's and much as we wanted her to remain at home safety was our first concern. I visited Lakeview Manor, in Beaverton on several occasions prior to choosing it as the ONLY CHOICE and she has now been there almost a year. It took an adjustment period but the facility is beautiful with well maintained gardens and benches outside. The interior is bright with natural lighting and very clean and my mother (92 yrs young), has her own room with her own bathroom. I visit her 1-2 x wk. The meals are wonderful with such a variety and the best tap water ever. The staff are incredible caring individuals and mom still makes most of her own choices as we want her to b e as independent as long as possible. Naturally I did not want to see her in a nursing home ever but all of the family know she is safe &well taken care of in a lovely environment can't say enough good things about this facility!
