My Mom was among the first 15 people to live at Hampton Terrace. It appears the "Great Hall" has undergone some renovations. When my Mother died in March of 2007 as difficult it was for my sister and I the Staff were wonderful. Her PSW, was a lady from Newfoundland, her name was Cathy, and she was the best PSW I had ever known. I'm not sure if she is still at Hampton Terrace, and can't recall if her name was Cathy with a "C"or a "K". I'm hoping she is well though. Trudy was the Director and Karen was the R. N., on days. They were a great team. Each shift the staff were great. The place was spotless. My Mom seemed happy and all residents were always clean and smiling with an occasional sad face. Not sad for long though, there was always something going on as far as singalongs, Spa Days, birthday parties with cake, ice cream and presents. Christmas was wonderful. Thank you so much for making my Mom's time at her new home, after loosing her husband of 62 years, a grand daughter, and 3 of her children all to cancer before she passed. You helped my young sister and I through my Mom's settling in to her new home. You also helped us during those last days of her life and her remaining family let her go as peacefully as she did. Her loss was, as my young sister said, "it's the end of an era", she is now with her husband and girls in heaven. My heart is slowly healing after all the losses we have had💔😢. I thank you all, everyone involved with Our Mom's care and including the volunteers. My love, prayers, and heartfelt thanks to you all. 🤗🌹🌹🌹🥰🙏🏻. P. F. Bowes

This is by far the best nursing home in Burlington. It is very clean, the staff always is pleasant and calls to inform of any changes to your family member's care plan. It is a lovely atmosphere and decorated for each season or event. There are lots of inclusive games, crafts, and special events for all to enjoy. Vilma, one of the RN's is phenomenal in her care and help with any need. All the PSW's are friendly and sweet. Tracey is an excellent director, which is obvious by the level of care this home provides.
