I have a friend who is a resident of the Grenadier. She, being unable to take care of herself, knows that someone is always a buzz away, should she need assistance. She has had to take advantage of that a couple of times. The staff are certified health care workers not nurses, but everyone has been helpful and friendly anytime I visit. I also know that the meals are hot and prepared on time and done in a social session where tables are shared with 2 or three other people. The few times that she has been unwell, they do allow her to eat in her room, for her safety as well as the other residents. It is not ideal for someone who has been independant and mobile their entire lives, but it is a much needed peace of mind knowing that you are looked after by responsible and caring people.

Rude, impatient nurses. COCKROACHES! in bathroom Meals were not the best and cost over 20 bucks for visitors. Pack em in and collect the cash. (over 5000 a month). Aunt Pat died last May at 97 of complications after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Luckily we got her to a much better home with better care and kind nurses to live out her final days.

Our family member spent many years living here. Staff were always kind to her and she enjoyed her time at Grenadier. Thank you for your friendly care.

Elena and staff threw a total blow-out party for my husband's grandfather's 110th birthday, and it was amazing! She also put together a beautiful memorial for us this year, when the grandfather passed away. Much, much thanks!
