I worked at Maple Lodge Retirement Home for 3+ years and I enjoyed every moment I worked there. The owners of Maple Lodge really turned that building around for the better. They make sure your loved one's have home cooked meals and fresh produce. All 3 owners really do care about there staff and the residents well being. Even though I'm not employed there anymore I still give Maple Lodge a 5 🌟 and will always remember the memories made there And may I add, I have 2 relatives who live there at Maple Lodge and are quite happy. Its not a dungeon its beautifully decorated and residents are able to come and go as they please.

first of all mark allen is not cathy allens son so get your facts straight before you criticize and try to belittle people to make up for your poorly taken care of home. furthermore what is your response to Andrews post that says he wouldnt let your home take care of a house plant . or Rusty who is a local guide he gave maple lodge. two stars is he a son as well ????? hopefully people reading reviews will take into consideration that owners do not make honest reviews because they want your money for doing little to no work. Maybe time would be better spent actually taking care of people instead of criticizing. No WSIB claims were made at all regarding this workplace. There was an investigation at maple lodge retirement home do to a death of a resident . Funny how elm springs AKA the slum lords that run maple lodge did not mention that or the constant turn over of employees and lack of educated staff. so in closing if elm springs want to hide there failures as a care provider by attacking reviewers maybe they shouldn't read the reviews because there is many. the only people who give this place good reviews are the owners or the employees that funded their laziness off the misery of the residents.

It's funny how people can make accusations like needing a wsib cases or follow direction but what this elm spring aka wendy k dont realize is that this Cathy's sons took evidence of everything evidence of the condition of the kitchen how it was and then how it was after he cleaned it evidence of how wendy k talked to people so elm springs can say what they will do they have evidence like cathy son does . unlike the people your indicating being on the system Cathy's son has never been on the system and as a matter of fact works full time so maybe use facts if your going to go after someone's character and not stereo type people so that should say something to people who would look into this residence that they stereotype people what else they racist to ? Because they dont look at people as individuals obviously stereotyping people so what else us there concepts of people ? I would really question being interested in this place if you would like to know more about the lack of attention to detail this place has feel free to reply to me and I'll go into more detail about maple lodge and the fact they tried to make a weekly menu with frozen preogies right I'd question if they could read prescriptions right and give proper medications but yes Cathy's son has more on medication distribution to so feel free to inquire

This place is dirty and poorly ran the PSWs yell at the residents this I have witnessed myself but since it is a privately owned retirement home it doesn't fall under the governments review board for anyone who is thinking about working there yet again since it is privately owned does NOT has WSIB you can call and verify this with the government agency or the home it's self Please if you care about the well being of your loved ones or yourself look in to this before spending time or money on a lost cause and to those people whom are going to read the rest of the reviews the individual who gave this place 5 stars is a co-owner and makes a profit on the mistreated of others
