Our life at The Renoir... Each day we wake up at The Renoir and look forward to a wonderful day ahead. Never are we disappointed. Ira & I moved here in March, 2024 and have never looked back. Both of us are so pleased we made this decision. We are new to Newmarket and The Renoir, however, have been welcomed and even overwhelmed by the friendliness of not only our fellow residents but staff and visitors alike. The meals and facilities are outstanding. Subsequent to our arrival friends have also decided to locate here. Ira & Paul Tessier

The Renoir supported my mother through her mid-eighties and early nineties with dignity, caring, compassion, and effervescence. She looked forward to every day there. The extremely personable staff engaged my mother in daily chats, highly-enjoyable activities, and outings. The second-floor nursing staff and personal support workers, helped her with daily living, and also anticipated her needs, so she was always safe and cared for. The staff who helped with cleaning her suite were also endlessly kind and always engaged in a friendly chat with her. They were communicative to us, her family members, and very caring, as they helped us work through next stages for our mother. I would recommend the Renoir Retirement Residence and all the outstanding people who work there without hesitation.

Kudos to Sylvie and her nursing team for their excellent care of our Mother especially when she faced numerous health setbacks and had to move into assisted living. Sylvie's professionalism and support were crucial in making the transition a success for our Mother and our family. Sylvie and her team always rise to the challenge, providing expert and individual care for each individual, residents are always treated with respect, compassion and kindness. I highly recommend the Renoir for you loved ones, you will not be disappointed!

The Renoir is a beautiful retirement residence that offers many wonderful amenities for residents and their families. I am currently doing my student placement in the Active Living department where I have the opportunity to see how well the residents are cared for and how friendly the staff is. It truly feels like home away from home as soon as you enter; there are amazing concierge staff to greet you as soon as you walk through their doors and staff ready to assist your every needs. I have visited several homes throughout the years and I have never seen such dedicated staff, especially in the activation department where they go above and beyond for every event, outing, and program. The Active Living department takes into consideration every resident suggestion or feedback and does their best to meet every resident need. The staff also ensures that residents make the most out of any program or outing offered and they make time to customize and personalize events based on their interests. I truly recommend this home for anyone looking to move into a retirement residence and I can happily reassure family members that their loved ones are given the best levels of care possible.

We were having a hard time finding the right home for my mother inlaw but we are so relieved to pick The Renoir. They have the best staff so welcoming and caring, they always have a smile on their face and make you feel like home. My mother in law is so happy and she is adjusting well. They have great programs that keep her busy and the food is phenomenal. All the departments are best at providing care. Totally recommend!!
