Our business Heart of the Matter/Senior's Move has worked with Chartwell Bankside for many years helping to move seniors into their new home. Diana, Kim, Cheryl and staff have always been welcoming, friendly and accommodating in every way. The resident spaces are well organized to suit a variety of needs. We look forward to connecting with the staff and residents each time we are in the retirement residence and the new apartments.

Aunt Betty decided to choose Bankside Terrace because of the excellent service from Cathy, one of the dining room staff. When we first visited during a busy Christmas season, Cathy took time to acquaint us with the service routine and enhanced our dessert selection with some fresh-baked cookies! Recently, we visited Aunt Betty on a busy Sunday evening and Cathy, as usual, was welcoming, attentive, and professional. Meals are such an important part of retirement living and Cathy creates a genuinely congenial atmosphere for all residents. Christine and the nursing staff are a comfort to our family. They keep us posted on any changes, whether a need for more supplies or a sore shoulder. Any adjustments are dealt with immediately and with the utmost care. Thanks, especially to Leslie and Olecassandra.

It’s hard to believe Mom moved into Bankside almost six years ago! It was her home and our family now has many happy memories celebrating her birthday in the party room each year along with visiting in the coffee room or back deck. Bankside had the real feeling of a home and not an institution as it was often referred to as ‘Mom’s Place’ or ‘Grandma’s’. I wanted to take a moment to provide a BIG thank-you to the entire team at Bankside Terrace for helping to make Mom’s final six years a very pleasant experience for her and our family and friends. Everyone at Bankside was always friendly and helpful and I would like to offer my reference as a satisfied customer to anyone looking for a nice retirement residence to call home.

My Grandma had lived at Bankside for 2 years. The staff were wonderful to her and our family. She will miss you all and thank you for everything!!!

I had the privilege of performing for the enthusiastic folks at Bankside Terrace. Chartwell understands the important role quality live music has in a happy and healthy lifestyle. Thanks! Christopher Pavlov, Pianist
