Ambassador is an AWESOME place to work. The home like setting makes the environment comfortable for the residents and staff. We pride ourselves on hospitality and premium care. I would recommend this facility for long term and short term rehabilitation patients. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Horrible and unethical treatment of patients staff "borrows" money and items from patients, my family member had items stolen on hospital stays. My family member have had frequent bedsores and infections from improper hygienic care. Most of staff are insensitive, and demeaning to patients. Food is inedible for diabetic and high blood pressure patients. Heavily salted and barely any other food options for patients with specialized diets. My family member is afraid if I complain to staff they will receive retaliation from staff. They also was given wrong medication and barely is seen by any physician. My family member was not given proper rehabilitation after an stroke. Some of staff is rude and conducts in "gossip" about other staff members and patients. Staff is heard often fighting with each other in the hallways. For the price I would expect more however you get what you pay for..will be moving my family member as soon as possible. Update: if the owner is really interested and concerned about this business he should do a surprise unexpected visit do this facility and see for themselves the pure negligence that goes on at this facility. Only then you would truly understand the negative reviews that were given.

I have never set foot in the place but the way they sent my brother to the hospital was deplorable. Multiple open wounds, a nasty bruise on his head from a fall, he was full of infection including [urinary tract, septicemia and a yeast infection {in his mouth}]. I have been seeking to remove him from there and I now feel I have the proof that they are not taking care of him.

I was there for only Rehab and my stay was from 1/5/2016 -1/25/2016 and was treated good. The mornings and afternoon shifts was very good and polite but the mid-night shift wasn't so good especially this one LPN nurse., she had a very BAD attitude and would never speak to me or look at me. She never brought my Medicine on time so that my pain could stay managed to the point I had to file a complaint against her and after doing that the Medicine came on time but her attitude sucked even worse. Mid-night staff would on on they cell phones and that's not being professional, after all Mid-nights is a shift and you are at Work. But overall it's a good clean place and I would recommend to my friends.

Firstly I would like to say that this is the worst nursing home on the eastside in the city of Detroit. The quality of care is 2. The residents are left with feces and urine over a period of time. The cena's are underpaided and overworked. The smell of urine in the elevator is ridiculous. The staff are drama filled and ring leader around. They have staffing breaks and me times and very unprofessional. The overall uptake of this establishment is bad. The attitudes of some of the higher authority is not right. Abuse is tolerated and not looked down upon. People that truly care are scolded. The residents food being eaten and items stolen. The neglect is just cruel and utterly sad. The cellphone usage is more important than the care for a resident. Overall this is not a good recommendation for your loved one.
