Very high quality palliative care. Specialist staff. Excellent for Westminster

Our lovely mum moved into Victoria Gardens, Forrester Court over 4 years ago where she passed away peacefully on 27th February. The care she received was incredible - Jessica painted her nails, Caroline made her coffee just how she liked it. All of the staff treated her with respect and allowed her to keep her dignity at all times. To name but a few - Ann-Marie, Ann, Greta, Andra, Haja, Aleyssa, Mono and Justin - thank you. They genuinely cared for her and supported us as a family whenever we needed it. We will also miss them, but are forever grateful for all they did for our family.

My mother in law passed away just before Christmas. She had been in hospital for several months and was discharged home with paiuliative care. We were told 2 weeks. After several months we could not cope. She had carers 4 times a day. They were great but we had to be there day and night. She was transfered to Foresters Court. Where thanks to the fantastic care she received she was with us for over a year. She saw her 101st birthday there which was fantastic as they decorated a room for us to have a party. We cannot thank them enough for the kind care they gave to mum during her last year. We had peace of mind knowing the care she had.

After several crises resulting from self-neglect and sepsis, my elder brother was placed in Forrester Court under the NHS continuing care scheme. I have nothing but praise for the care he received and the staff who provided it. From the outset they were considerate, warm and gentle and tried their hardest to make him feel comfortable and at home. Although he was quite severely demented he had retained his power of speech, and it was plain to me that he was very pleased to find himself so well fed and cared for. Sadly, his time at Forrester Court was brief - barely two months - and the staff were unable to carry out their plans to get him walking again and meet some of the other patients. Throughout, I was moved by their genuine concern for him, and at the end by the sadness with which they learned of his death.
