I have given five staff for the extremely kind, friendly and helpful staff. Also the hospice is warm, clean and safe and in a nice area.

My grandad passed away in this home and several things went wrong here. Including they stole money from him, wouldn't adjust his meds as he was deteriorating, wouldn't get the foods he knew he could tolorate and eat, did not take him out when requested, did not see to his health needs and proper care of them which ended up being a main reason why he passed. They didn't contact the next of kin nor did they really know what day he died! Did not tell family to come visit as they knew he was dying, and they actually told family not to come Because he was unresponsive!!! They went through his belongings when he passed and took several items out of his room. I'm telling you this place is atrocious! Had I known the severity of this, I would have flown myself from the USA to take care of him and move him. I always remember him saying, they had under qualified people there working. Janitors would walk into his room if he would push the buzzer. no nursing employees!! That's IF they gave him the buzzer. My grandad passed 6 months ago so I waited to give this review for a lesser angry response. This place is a joke! I have been there when people are yelling from their rooms and no one Shows up!!! I have gone in their room to ask if I could help. Again had I known I would have definite pulled him out. So I am partly to blame for this! If you care at all about your loved ones. Stay away from this place and San the "manager!"

Friendly and helpful staff and manager. Very good

Generally the place looks clean, smells clean and looks nice. But... No Manager on weekend duty. Head Nurse hard to find and carers/staff all sat around in day room, A lot. You ask for help with a patient and its like your asking for the earth! To include their snipey comments. Well I know everyone is entitled to a break but not all the staff at the same time! And yes we need your help and yes we will ask, after all that is why your there and paid to take care of your patients/our relations- if you dont like it dont do the job! And if a patient is there to rehab/progress then dont surpress them. Always other patients calling out and ignored- Im sure its part of their illness but wouldnt you check in on them? I think the weekends there are a joke no Manager =cats away mice will play- ALL patients in bed or chair in room. Sure the day room is for the care home staffs enjoyment only.
