This place is Terrible. When you enter there is a urine smell, 3 residents in a very small room, no phone in the rooms no bathroom per room (communal rest room) looks like only 2 down the hall

Great Staff , Always Nice & As helpful As They can be! Old Building But They Keep It Nice & Clean. Great place for therapy & Or Long Term Stay!

This place has a very lively and competent staff. Its like a family attitude and evryone is involved. Most of the resident become friends and help each other through their stay. The facility is old but the love in this place is what makes all the difference. I would like to see better staffing and a little more organization. The food is good but redundant

This is my first experience dealing with a nursing home/rehab center. I'm not impressed. There are quite a few ladies that are great. But like everything in life, the ugly people ruin in. And boy are there some attitudes there. No sure if its because I'm a young white American taking care of an elderly African American (and the place, staff, residents and patients are predominately African America, but it sure has crossed my mind, literally every visit. And I visit often. daily often. I have seen some nurses be forceful and I have seen some be so sweet. It has really made my decision to move my BFF, difficult, because the sweet ones.. they're so endearing and you can tell they really love their job. With that being said, the social worker and a few nurses, made it final.... he's leaving ASAP. The Social Worker there suggested to the Court Appointed Attorney that I am unfit to continue as his Guardian. Shame on her. Anyhow, she sounded ignorant and unprofessional at our "care conference" With that being said, I gave the social worker at DMC (she was amazing!!! Shout out to Mrs. Hernandez at DMC Receiving!! You were wonderful and Teddy and I thank you!!!) my "top 3" choices, and Eastwood, was my #1 pick. butttt i almost immediately regretted it as the EMT that transferred my BFF to Eastwood, told me multiple times, to 'Get him out of here!!" sheesh! we hadn't been there for 10 minutes. The past is the past, Today is Today and I pray I have a tomorrow, to make the best decisions, moving forward. Had those Nurses not been so kind and loving, I would have rated this place at least a 2 Star. Also, it took nearly 2 weeks to actually sit down for our "Care Conference". And, be careful with your belongings, because they DISAPPEAR. literally. Clothing, Listerine, you name it! 2 weeks or so, after BFF being admitted, that's when they suggested I fill out an inventory list LMAO. now? now that I brought up the fact that quite a few of his belongings are missing. wonderful. BUT they will give you community clothes. yippy. I just spent a few hundred dollars on new things, and BFF gets to wear lost and found clothes. Lord, be with me, because one of these days I might speak my mind, rather than cry and pray!

My husband William Newman has been working here for a while now. He loves it and if he loves it I love it.
